Central Dartmoor Landscape Recovery: Update meeting

Last night we had a very fruitful meeting of about 35 of the farmers and landowners involved in the Central Dartmoor Landscape Recovery project at the Plume of Feathers in Princetown, with buffet kindly provided by the Duchy of Cornwall, who we’ve been working closely with to develop the project.

Our chair, John Dracup gave a presentation to bring everyone up to speed about with our proposals, including where we are in the induction process, the next steps and the opportunities (and challenges) that Landscape Recovery offers. This was followed by a discussion and Q & A session. One of key the questions was whether we can add additional farms and commons to our project, and in brief the answer to this is yes.
